Founder & CEO
Dr. Niraj (Raj) Nijhawan is a practicing physician. He was raised in Milwaukee, WI, graduated from the University of Wisconsin Medical School in 1992, and completed a medical residency in Anesthesiology/Critical Care at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Nijhawan received a National Institute of Health Scientist Training Grant where he acquired a Master’s Degree in clinical research as he was trained as a clinical scientist and designed and conducted medical research. Dr. Nijhawan has spent nearly 30 years cataloging, practicing. teaching, and helping people integrate the latest knowledge from the realms of medical, social, and neuroscience into their lives.
Sarah Engel-Streicher (OTA) is the “glue” that holds LEO together. Formally trained in Occupational Therapy she provides a range of skills and passion to the LEO cause including website development; survey design and delivery; program design, creativity, and delivery; budget and other critical admin functions; video/audio library creation and maintenance; and creative design and development of program materials to name a few.
Athlete Development & Performance
Greg Poss (BA Economics, UW-Madison) has been a professional hockey coach for the past 27 years in Europe and North America. He played at the University of Wisconsin, one of the premiere hockey programs in the country, and then three seasons of professional hockey after graduation. In his 3rd year of playing professionally, Poss suffered a career ending knee injury leading him at a young age into coaching. He landed his first job as a head coach in Olofstrom, Sweden one year after finishing his playing career. He went on to coach several of the top European clubs including the German National Team. He has coached professional teams to championships in German, Austria and the US. As a coach, Poss strived to improve his players and their mental toughness to optimize performance, individually and collectively. The LEO program is the best system he has used to mentally bring individuals and teams to their peak performance.
Tarek Saleh (BA, UW-Madison) is the owner of KYLY Consulting Group and a former NFL linebacker. He lettered 4 years in football, was a three-year starter for UW-Madison, an All-American in 1996, and played 5 years in the NFL for the Carolina Panthers and Cleveland Browns. Since 2003, Tarek has co-hosted ESPN radio's "Monday Night's Drive” which is one of Wisconsin’s longest running sports talk shows. He also became the Director of Business Development for The LIDS Sports Group and represented Kollege Town Sports (2012-2019) where he developed strategic partnerships with companies like Under Armour and as well as colleges and companies around the country. Founded in 2012, his company KYLY Consulting Group specializes in business development for companies of all sizes. Tarek was instrumental in finding key partners that believe in/supported the LEO vision and helped it to become what it is today.
Consultant and Trainer
Paul Riehemann (MBA and CPM, UW-Madison) is an experienced wellness coach and workshop instructor who has also led public, private and non-profit organizations. Paul has earned multiple certificates including Emotional Intelligence and Primal Health Coaching, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Project Management. He is a Mechanical Engineer and earned his Professional Engineer license in New York State. Paul is Founding Chair of an international environmental organization through Rotary International and a Past President of the 480-member Rotary Club of Madison. He is skilled at interactive/activity-based adult learning.
Alex Dutch-Greene (M.A., Argosy University) is an Organizational Development practitioner who has experience in consulting, change management, project management, training, learning and development, leadership development, coaching, sales, and relationship management. He holds a Masters degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and has assisted in facilitating large-scale changes across organizations. He is skilled at creative problem-solving and addressing issues pertaining to employee engagement, burnout, and cultural alignment.
Kevin O’Brien (MSSW, University of Wisconsin – Madison, LMFT, LCSW) is a Family Therapist and Clinical Social Worker who has experience in developing high-impact learning experiences through teaching, training, coaching, consultation and counseling. His experience leading multiple programs and collaboratives through the change process has demonstrated his skills in strategic planning, engagement and supervision of staff, team leadership, project management, and quality improvement processes.
Dr. Brian Leitzke
Research & Statistical Analysis
Brian Leitzke (PhD) acquired a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Raised in southern Wisconsin, Brian was an elementary school teacher before pursuing graduate training in clinical and developmental psychology. Brian has advanced training in statistics, experimental design, neuroscience, and developmental psychopathology, his research was funded by the National Institute of Mental Health, and he has presented his findings at workshops and conferences in the United States and abroad. As a clinician, Brian works with individuals of all ages suffering from severe psychopathology, addiction, trauma, and chronic and terminal medical conditions. Brian applies principles from brain, clinical, and social science to the design, measurement, and implementation of cutting-edge programming to nurture and promote resilience and power among individuals, teams, and organizations.
